How
did words like Nirvana, Karma, Guru,
Meditation, Reincarnation and “Om” come to be
part of everyday language in the West? The
answer lies in Yoga, the fastest
growing spiritual practice around the world.
A million dollar
project, this film idea was the brainchild of
Vancouver's Chakra Wellness teacher, Sri Venu,
who shared his inspiration with those who
listened. A wonderful
overview of the many sides to
Yoga.
PLANET YOGA tells the
fascinating story of the encounter between the
ancient eastern discipline of yoga and a western
population. This convergence has given birth to
the most popular mind‐body movement on the
planet.
Featuring a colorful cast of characters,
a compelling musical score, and unexpected
locations on three continents, the film explores
yoga’s social uses and its powerful attraction
for a Western world in search of meaning.
Behind
the joyful energy of Planet Yoga is the
collective admission that materialism has hit
the wall, and it is now time to look inwards for
meaning and peace.

The
origin

spirituality
and
every

all

the

These ancient
texts
include
the
stories
and
wisdom
contained
in The
Mahabharata, Bhagavad

The
Ramayan and
The Rigveda,
just to
name a
few.
One
should be aware
that
this
source
of
wisdom
has been
dissected,
distorted
and
even
partially
reinvented
into
assorted
religious
doctrines to suit
many
cultures
throughout
the
ages. As
well,
medicine
and
science
have
created
separate
camps
from the
religions
in the
Western
and
European
worlds.
In
India,
medicine,
science
and
spirituality
are
under
one
umbrella
as
Body-Mind-Spirit
must be
embraced
as part
of the
whole.
Separated,
they
will
never
find
peace
and that
is
obvious
in our
world
today.
This
separation
of the 3
bodies
was a
way to
manipulate
and
segregate
the
masses
from the
Divine
Truths
carried
within
the vast
knowledge
known as
the
Vedas.
Yoga's
Vedic
wisdom
is a
fascinating
study of
awareness
that
will
open
your eyes,
create
deep
heartfelt
peace
and
offer new
perspective
about
our
world,
Creation,
our
Universe
and the
Cosmos
and
everything
in it.
As we
learn to
embrace
the
postures
(Asanas),
knowledge
(Vedanta),
sounds
(Mantras)
and
breath (Pranayama
or life
force)
practices
within
our
hearts,
it
becomes
clear
that we
have
discovered
a way to
connect
to the
cosmos
through
our
very experience
of Life
and Love.
One of
the ways
we may
choose
to
explore this,
is
through
the
orgasmic
or
ecstatic
process,
which
the
Vedas
say is
our
natural
state of
being.
However,
Authentic
Sacred Tantra
strives
to take
the
focus of
sex out
of
sensuality,
by
offering
a much
more
deeply
intimate
view and
connection
to that
intimate
side of
ourselves
that we
all seek
to find
or
share
with a
partner.
The
Vedas
say we
seek
this
kind of
Divine
union,
because
it is
where we
originate.
We come
from
what we
know
deep
inside.
We often
seek a
partner
that we
refer to
as "the
one."
According
to the
Vedas,
"The
One" we
seek is
actually
the
Source
of our
Existence
and the
severed
cord
that
once
connected
us,
creates
the
yearning
we feel
to
reconnect.
This
invites
us to be
on a
continual
quest
seeking
who we
are,
where we
come
from,
why we
are here
and
where we
are
going.
In the
western
world,
the once
sacred
arts of
Tantra
have
been
exploited
in many
distorted
ways.
Most
people
think
Tantra
means
sex or
sexuality.
In
actuality, Tantra
means
tension
and
weaving
and
represents
the
balance
created
by
weaving
the
tension
between
Body-Mind-Spirit.
Authentic
Sacred Tantra
demonstrates
how the
ecstatic
experience is
readily
available
in many
ways and
forms.
We have
disconnected
from
experiencing
most of
these
ecstatic
states
and have
been
left
with the
physical
expression.
This
material
world
condition
pulls
and tugs
us in
many
directions
as it is
run by
our very
primal,
ancestral
and
uncontrolled
unconscious
energies.
The
Yogas of
Tantra
teach
you how
to
harness
true
ecstatic
energy
so it
nurtures
and
heals
the
Body-Mind-Spirit
as a
whole
from a
very
conscious
place.
This
gives us
real
power
and
allows
for a
greatly
expanded
view of
our
ecstatic
side and
our
connection
to
everything
from
this
place of
understanding.
This is
real
power
and
conscious,
truthful,
ecstatic
Love in
action.
Thus the
path of
the
Yoga's
of
Tantra
share
how
we may
choose
to enjoy
that
self
exploration
and
self-mastery
through
the
journey
to
rediscover
the
ultimate
and
deeply
intimate
connection
with the
Divine, Creation,
Nature,
ourselves
and
another
if we so
choose.
Authentic
Sacred
Tantra
is in
fact,
the
awareness
of that ultimate
union
with
ourselves
and the
Source
of our
Existence that
begins
within.

Aspiring to expand our

Sanskrit Mantras and Chants
Chanting mantras or Sadhana, is done in
many ancient cultures. In the Vedic traditions, it is considered one of the best ways
to easily tap into Creation, God or Divine energy as we know it. Vedic Teacher and
international author Jeffrey Armstrong says, "It is like dialing
our cell phone to the right channel to connect with that source."
Mellow

As we train ourselves
in one-pointed focus with chanting mantras, we also energetically shift
the very cells in our body, with these magical energetic
signatures. This is one of the many ways we may use to

collected
baggage.

Mantras
For
best results it is recommended we chant in the mornings within 1 3/4 hours of a sunrise
completing. The supporting energies of the moon, sun and planet are much more
amplified at this time to create more profound results. Mantra chanting is also suggested
throughout the day whenever creating, cooking or cleaning.
Food is much more charged and alive when prepared with chanting.
Jeffrey Armstrong suggests
that when we slowly build our chanting up to 1 or 2hrs a day, we are
not only able to clear the days baggage, we also
put a dent in our kharmic baggage too. Our days then begin with
a very different perspective and energy.

The fascinating life story of Alfred
Kinsey, a man driven to uncover the most private secrets of the
nation, and a journey into the mystery of human behavior.
74 years after
Kinseys research in the 40's, we
have barely progressed in our awareness about sex and sensuality.
To
this day important secrets such as Authentic Sacred Tantra holds,
have often been buried or hidden away from general awareness of the
masses, just as the truth about our bodies and sexuality was in
Kinsey's time.
A purposeful oversight
to manipulate, control and keep us ignorant, ancient sensual secrets
have been avoided and buried by both our religious and medical
systems.
Authentic Sacred
Tantra shares a taste of the incredible healing power we all hold within
when sensual secrets are utilized appropriately.
This movie is presented as part of the Tantra Movie Night
events held by Divinea, complete with popcorn, appetizers and refreshments.
Kinsey - continued...
In 1948 Kinsey
irrevocably changed American culture and created a media sensation
with his book "Sexual Behavior in the Human Male".
Using the technique
of his own famous sex interviews, story recounts the scientist's
extraordinary journey from obscurity to global fame.
Rebelling against the rigid piety of his home life, and drawn to the world of the senses, Kinsey becomes a Harvard-educated zoologist specializing in the study of gall wasps.
After being hired to teach biology at Indiana University, Kinsey meets and marries a witty, freethinking female student, Clara McMillen. In the course of his teaching he discovers an astonishing dearth of scientific data on sexual behavior.
When students seek him out for advice about sexual concerns and problems, he realizes that no one has done the clinical research that would yield reliable answers to their questions.
Inspired to explore the emotionally charged subject of sex from a strictly scientific point of view, Kinsey recruits a team of researchers and over time they refine an interviewing technique, which helps people to break through shame, fear, and guilt and speak freely about their sexual histories.
When Kinsey publishes his Male study in 1948, the press compares the impact to that of the atom bomb.
But as the country enters the more paranoid Cold War era of the 1950s, Kinsey's follow-up study on women is seen as an attack on basic American values.
The ensuing outrage and scorn causes Kinsey's benefactors to abandon him, just as his health begins to deteriorate.
At the same time, the jealousies and acrimony caused by Kinsey's attempt to create a private sexual utopia threaten to tear apart the research team and expose them to unwelcome scrutiny.
